Is it really ? .....
This past year has been all about choices. In a short span of time I've been given an overwhelming and bewildering array of choices for every damn thing in life. Sometimes I chose well, sometimes I didn't.
Yet, I think its not all about choices.
Its just about accepting the fact that *I* made the choice and its only *me* thats responsible for making it. Nothing else, nobody else made them for me. No luck, no fate just *me*.
The joys I've are all because I chose properly and any problems I face are of my choosing as well.
I hope you choose well too, please :) !

Absolutely, man. I think we in Indian ascribe most things to fate, that's one of the primary cross-cultural learnings that I've picked up in the recent past. Good luck to you, happy choosing.

I wrote something very similar just few days back...except for the fact that you go ahead and dismantle the truth, which is interesting.
Well said :) I have always been amused when fate/destiny and other external factors are held in high regard, be it for achievements or for the mess one creates. I had earlier come to the conclusion that our lives are the reflections of our decisions only, but, I am rethinking the role that chaos plays. The opportunities that spring up and we be able to recognize them and make the most of it, is a matter of choice. But, somehow encountering them by a sheer matter of chance most of the times introduces this uncertainty parameter. This keeps me pondering....
Happy choosing amidst chaos till then :)
Rohan : Am not sure about the cross cultural angle. Coz, i've most certainly seeing people here religiously clutching talismans, "touching wood" et all ... But definitely we in India tend to overdo it a tad too much.
Parag : To me life is becoming more and more like "RTSL" :) . Just know where to look and you will find why, how et all !
Bharati: I do agree that chance has its role. There is always uncertainty. But surely chance's role is limited. Ultimately one may make the most out of the lousiest chances but its the choices he'd make that count and importantly he'd be the only one person responsible for making them !
Absolutely boss. Its just like a game of cards. Probability would get you your set of cards. Your strategy would decide if you win the game. Getting a better set of cards would make life a bit easier, whereas, even a better set of cards wouldn't save one with a bad strategy ;)
